Resourcing Mission Bulletin

October 2014

October 2014

In this issue, we share with Bulletin readers the lessons that have emerged to date from the use of the Archbishops’ Council’s and Church Commissioners’ funding for mission in new housing and other development areas, as identified by an external evaluation of the funding. We explore how a suburban parish church in Greater Manchester has undertaken a strategic approach to growth. We look at a fresh expression of church which developed in a school setting and which has led to the establishment of a second fresh expression serving the wider community. And we examine how the discipleship programme Jesus Shaped People, which emerged in the deprived estate of Holme Wood in Bradford, is being used by an increasing number of churches as a model for development and growth.
